A Little About Ana Maria

I was born and raised in Costa Rica, Central America. I am a Preschool teacher with a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Framingham State College in Massachusetts. I have been working with children since 1998 in all sorts of environments and grade levels; from the delicate and cute nursery children  to teaching Spanish to active and encouraging elementary students.

My husband and I moved to Rochester MN in the summer of 2013 with our four kids. Jose and Ana Cristina, are both college students who enjoy family time whenever they are around; Eduardo, is a considerate and super friendly young man that plays piano, soccer and loves video games and Ana Lucia, is a sweet and energetic girl who enjoys reading all day, and playing piano and soccer too.

My husband, Alvaro, is a breast cancer surgeon and researcher, and my first supporter in the opening of my own daycare center.
